gifts for 1- 2 year olds

Just as you get over the baby gear phase- enter the world of toys! Where to start! We suggest open- ended toys, they get played with for years, at each age in a different way- they make your child play and use their skills and imagination vs battery operate toys that entertain your child (for a while), and they break, run out of batteries or are now boring. Here are our favourite 1st birthday present ideas that they will still play with until there are 3 years and beyond.
